Yello,
So last p-day we got to go to the state fair! It was so much fun and we ate so much good food. The scones were HEAVENLY! The rest of the week was a little rough. We have had continued cancellations and it is really stretching my faith in planning. It is so discouraging when our plans and backup cancel day after day. We did have some lessons this week, so not all hope is lost. I loved the women's conference! Elder Uchtdorf's talk about the Fourth Floor, Last Door was AMAZING! Last night I was really struggling having faith. It seems that no one is accepting the gospel and that people just don't want to listen to us. I kinda broke down during finding and we went to the car to recoup. I was venting about faith and agency to Sister Pope. After about 15 minutes Sister Pope said that there was a house at the end of the street that has been popping out to her and asked if I was up for it. We prayed and headed towards the house. There was a guy named Jeremy that was outside smoking. We started talking with him and taught him the Restoration on the spot with a few interruptions, but ended with a prayer. Was Jeremy desiring to dive into the font? No. But it was an example to me that Heavenly Father knew I was struggling and by the Holy Ghost prompting Sister Pope we were able to teach someone that was willing to listen. My faith grew. I really want to help others come unto Christ and be baptized but it is taking longer. Every time I think about how I haven't seen a baptism, I think about Brooke. Heavenly Father reminds me that I have seen a baptism, I have seen someone come unto Christ. So hope isn't lost it never is. I am so excited for General Conference! Love you so much. Don't forget to read the Book of Mormon each day! Much Love, Sister Wynder P.S. A great talk to reread is To the rescue: We Can Do It by Elder Arnold Pictures from the state fair!
They opened a new Jimmie John's in Bryn's area and she is pretty excited about that
