COWS!!!!!

Hi Family,

So last P-day Sister Schiess and I did some exploring and found a cool bridge over Carbon River! Some members in the Buckley 2nd ward saw us and told us about a 1-2 mile hike. So the Hermanas and us are going on a hike after emailing.

We have been working with more less actives and part member families this week. It has been going really well. We had another lesson with the Scotts and we were able to see where Sister Scott stood with the church. She was really open and said she believed a lot about the church. She just wants to be the one to decide when she gets baptized. Which is totally fine with us! She watched a little bit of General Conference too and is coming to the ward potluck this week.

We did some unexpected service this week for a returning inactive and the shoes I was wearing were my black flat crocs! Service in crocs is not such a good idea...See picture at bottom for details!

We saw Lisa this week and she told us she still wants to be baptized so we are working with her on a new date! We aren't giving up on her and it is a blessing she still wants to be baptized!

GENERAL CONFERENCE WAS AWESOME!!! We watched it at the stake center. Basically all the missionaries in the stake and a couple of other people were there. At the Sunday session though our Bishop and his family + members of the Spanish branch came and we had a big lunch at the break. It was so much fun! I learned a lot from General Conference. I mostly learned how to follow the spirit more promptly! I love Elder Rasband's talk along with Elder Holland's, Elder Grow's, Elder Sabin's, and many more. I received so many answers to my questions and personal revelation. General Conference truly is a joy!

So I am really taking my goal of converting a dairy farmer and his family serious! Yesterday we knocked on the owner of Haugen Dairy Farm's house, and asked if we could do service for them. Sadly the owner's wife wasn't very friendly and sad no and just shut the door. Good thing there is more than one dairy farm in Buckley. So I have been asking the members if they know anyone with a cow. We are on the search and I know Heavenly Father will bless us.

Also a cool miracle - We knocked on a PMF's (part member family's) door and the dad that was a "nonmember" was really nice and asked if we wanted to come in. We stepped in and asked if they were the Lovejoys? They said no! They weren't members at all but they were so nice and who the heck just lets us in? That never happens! They are Christian and said they had talked with missionaries before. We talked to them about family history a little and were on our way. We went back and gave them a pass-along card for #PrinceofPeace and they said we could come back to see what they thought of it. So cool!

Well that is about it this week. Hope everyone is looking forward to Easter and that you all have shared #PrinceofPeace!

Much Love,

Sister Wynder

She sent lots of pictures this week and if you scroll all the way to the bottom there is a video of Bryn and some cows . . .

I guess this is what happened when she did service in her Crocs . . .
